गाय को राष्ट्रीय पशु का दर्जा देकर उसकी जान बचा लेने के संकल्प को पूरा करके ही दम लेने की ऐतिहासिक घोषणा, इन्हीं परम् सन्त बाबा उमाकांत जी महाराज ने गुरु पूर्णिमा 2014 के पावन पर्व पर जयपुर में की थी। इसी क्रम में गाय को राष्ट्रीय पशु बना कर उसकी जान बचाने हेतु पूरे देश भर से प्रेमियों द्वारा कई लाख प्रार्थना पत्र प्रधानमंत्री कार्यालय भेजे जा चुके हैं। अपने सत्संग सम्बोधनों में पूज्य महाराज जी बहुत बार समझाते हैं कि पृथ्वी पर तीन माँ होती है धरती माता, गऊ माता और अपनी जन्म दात्री माता।
The same Param Sant Baba Umakant Ji Maharaj had made the historic announcement of taking his life only after fulfilling his resolve to save the life of cow by giving it the status of national animal, in Jaipur on the holy festival of Guru Purnima 2014. In this sequence, lakhs of applications have been sent to the Prime Minister"s Office by lovers from all over the country to save the life of the cow by making it the national animal. In his satsang addresses, Pujya Maharaj Ji explains many times that there are three mothers on earth: Mother Earth, Mother Cow and our birth mother.
धरती पर पाप न हो इसलिए बुराइयां छोड़ने की प्रेरणा देते रहते हैं। गऊ रक्षार्थ समझाते हैं कि 84 लाख योनियों का चक्कर काटती कष्ट भोगती जीवात्माऐं मनुष्य शरीर से पहले गाय और बैल के शरीर में रखी जाती हैं। अपनी आयु पूरी करके मरने पर गाय को अगले जन्म में लड़की तथा बैल को अगले जन्म में लड़के का शरीर मिलता है इसलिए उनको अपनी मौत मरने देना चाहिए ताकि अगला जीवन अच्छा व शान्त रहे। वर्ना समय पूर्व गौ वंश की हत्या कर देने पर शेष आयु प्रेत योनि में बिताने के कष्ट के कारण अतृप्त एवं चिड़चिडे़ स्वभाव वाले बच्चे बच्चियां पैदा होते हैं जिसका भोक्ता सारा समाज बनता है। इसी के साथ पूज्य महाराज जी का कहना है कि आगे भारत में गौ वंश की हत्या ही नहीं किसी भी पशु-पक्षी की हत्या नहीं होगी।

Gau Rakshaartha explains that the souls who are suffering while roaming in 84 lakh births are kept in the bodies of cows and bulls before the human body. After completing their life span and dying, the cow gets the body of a girl in the next life and the bull gets the body of a boy in the next life, hence they should let their death happen. So that the next life remains good and peaceful. Otherwise, due to the premature killing of the cow progeny, due to the pain of spending the rest of their life in a ghostly form, children are born with unsatisfied and irritable nature, whose victims are the entire society. Along with this, Pujya Maharaj Ji says that in future there will be no killing of cows or any other animal or bird in India.
